According to royal journalist Rebecca Jones, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem unable to decide which way to pivot in life. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem unable to escape the glaring spotlight,” she wrote for Daily Express. “It’s as if they’re addicted to it. Do they want their privacy respected as they go about their daily lives with their two young children in California, or do they seek publicity? It’s a royal paradox.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made headlines for attending Kris Jenner‘s recent 70th birthday party. According to a source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex asked the Kardashian family matriarch and daughter Kim Kardashian to take down photos with them that the reality stars shared on Instagram. “They don’t want to p*** off the royal family while they are trying to reconcile,” the insider told Page Six.

The royal family isn’t pleased with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Hollywood hobnobbing. “It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family. These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy,” a second source told Page Six.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to make amends with the royal family, but the Suits star will need to continue networking in Hollywood circles if she wants to successfully realize her big ambitions. “I’ve been told by those close to Meghan that she wants to become a billionaire,” royal expert Emily Andrews claimed in the Channel 5 documentary The Meghan Effect: How She Shook Up the Royal Family. “To become a billionaire, she has to build her brand to be as big and successful as it possibly can.”
