Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are at a pivotal point, having to decide between their Royal past and their Hollywood present.
The couple was spotted at Kris Jenner’s extravagant 70th birthday party, but all traces of their attendance were swiftly erased.
Despite trading their Royal existence for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, it appears they’re reconsidering their path and making choices that will shape their future.
Following rumors that they requested the Kardashian-Jenners to erase any evidence of their presence at the event, Ruth Sparkes, a PR expert and director at EMPRA, commented on the couple’s predicament.
Ruth stated: “If they’re genuinely trying to rebuild bridges with the Royal Family, they can’t keep leaning too far into the Hollywood lifestyle, it just doesn’t fit with royal duty and restraint.”
An insider revealed to the publication that they are trying to reconcile without upsetting the family.
Previously, a source had told the publication that palace insiders viewed their extravagant Hollywood party as “tacky”, and it “shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family”.
Reports have suggested that Harry is eager to bring Meghan and his children to the UK to show them “where he grew up”, according to the Sunday Times.
Earlier, Harry had expressed to the BBC that he missed the UK, but after losing a legal battle with the Home Office over his security level, he couldn’t confidently confirm his return. However, he has since reunited with his father, King Charles III, during a private meeting at Clarence House in September.
