Meghan Markle has reportedly ruffled feathers in Hollywood following an incident involving photographs taken at Kris Jenner’s birthday bash last week.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted enjoying the 70-year-old’s birthday festivities on November 8, with snaps of the Royal couple making their way onto Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s Instagram feeds.
However, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that these images of the pair were swiftly removed post-upload, while all other party photos remained intact.
The reason behind the photo deletion remains a mystery, but speculation is rife among various outlets that this was a request from Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, who perhaps didn’t want to be seen cutting loose during Remembrance weekend.
Subsequent reports suggest that by asking for the photos to be taken down, Meghan – if indeed she made this request – may have inadvertently created a new adversary within Hollywood’s social circles.
The Duchess of Sussex also faced criticism for her appearance at the party last Saturday, where she was seen without a poppy.
Meghan faced a wave of online criticism, particularly as Prince Harry was seen wearing his own poppy.
A source close to the Duchess told the Daily Mail that Meghan couldn’t wear a poppy because they’re not readily available in the U.S., unlike in Commonwealth countries.
This is despite her having worn one in previous years, even after moving to America.
Meghan has yet to post any photos from Kris Jenner’s star-studded party, which saw the likes of Beyoncé and Mariah Carey in attendance, on her personal Instagram account.
