Andy Cohen has shared details of Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger’s interview with him after her release from prison.
The TV personality revealed that he had spoken with her just a couple of days after she got out during a chat at BravoCon on Friday. Brief footage of the interview with the RHOP star was shown during a mid-season teaser for What Happens Live, which made its debut at the event on Friday, November 14.
Andy shared, “The sit-down was a couple days after she was released. I went to her home in the dead of night after Watch What Happens Live. I just kind of snuck into Potomac and snuck right back out.”
In the clip, Cohen is seen saying, “Here we are. You are a free woman,” as he refers to Huger’s six-month prison term for DUI. Her time behind bars for the conviction ended in September when she was released from Montgomery County Detention Center.
Huger replies, “Time to talk about my addiction.” The full interview will now air during the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 finale. Choen told Page Six, “It was very emotional. I heard things from Karen that I have never heard before.”
Asked how it felt when he heard Huger, 62, admit to battling addiction, Cohen admitted that he “was very impressed with the whole conversation. I’m excited for you guys to see it.”
The reality TV star was found guilty on charges of DUI and DWI, negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, endangering property, life, and person in December 2024. The conviction came after a March 2024 crash that left her Maserati totaled.
He was also found guilty of failure to control vehicle speed on the highway to avoid a collision, driving a vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on the highway, driving a vehicle on the highway with suspended registration, and failure to notify the administration of a change of address within 30 days.

Huger was not found guilty of recklessly driving a vehicle in wanton and willful disregard for the safety of persons and property.
At the time she admitted feeling disappointed at her sentence. Her attorney, A. Scott Bolden, said in a statement to People, “Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case.”
Police body cam footage showed Huger admitting to being “drunk” following the collision. It also showed her answering questions in an inebriated interrogation, calling herself Thomas Jefferson’s “concubine.”
She later addressed the footage from her arrest, confessing to her husband, Ray Huger, that she had tried not to watch it. She said, “I’m sitting there in the courtroom, like, I have to finally watch it, because I kept saying, ‘Well, surely they made a mistake, right, because everything’s not connecting for me. I’m telling you, I didn’t recognize that woman.”
