A royal journalist has questioned what more Sarah Ferguson has left to lose by penning a tell-all memoir. This comes as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have reportedly been banned from attending the prestigious Royal Ascot. The move forms part of a broader effort to limit the sisters’ involvement in high-profile public engagements amid the controversy surrounding their dad and the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are said to have been informed that they will not take their seats in the Royal Box at the prestigious June racing fixture, nor participate in the traditional Royal Procession alongside senior members of the monarchy.
Writing in the Royalist, Tom Sykes said: “Beatrice and Eugenie, who once represented the monarchy at events and enjoyed the trappings of royal status, are now being kicked out of the inner circle by Prince William. They have reportedly been banned from attending this year’s Royal Ascot because of renewed scrutiny over their parents’ links to Epstein.”
Following on from this, Sykes has claimed Fergie might benefit from selling her story. He writes: “It is not hard to imagine Ferguson asking herself a blunt question: if Beatrice and Eugenie are to be stripped of their status and access anyway, what exactly does she have left to lose?”
He added: “Her situation is, shall we say, fluid; her finances uncertain and her safety net threadbare.”
Further stating: “Living indefinitely in borrowed houses and five-star clinics is not a plan, and Ferguson has always reverted to the one thing she can sell when the money runs out: her story.”

Speaking of Sarah Ferguson’s children not attending Royal Ascot this year, a source told the Mail on Sunday: “I’ve spoken to my friend who works at Ascot, and they said the girls have been told they can’t be there this year.
“Beatrice has taken it the hardest. She’s been completely blindsided by all of this.”
The development marks the latest setback for the House of York, following Andrew’s recent arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office at the Sandringham Estate on his 66th birthday.
While Andrew’s ties have long been public, the new files revealed deeper, more recent connections for Ferguson, including emails suggesting she relied on him for financial help and described him as a “brother.”
