Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, graded by colourist Máté Ternyik, and Bad Bunny’s Nuevayol music video, graded by Dante Pasquinelli at Ethos Studio, were among the top winners of this year’s FilmLight Colour Awards.

Now in its fifth year, the FilmLight Colour Awards honor professional colourists working across screen media. The awards programme features six categories, spanning theatrical features to commercials and music videos. The winners are announced each year at Poland’s Camerimage Film Festival.

More from Deadline

This year’s ceremony was opened by cinematographer and 2025 Jury President, Bradford Young, while film director and 2025 Guest of Honour, Park Chan-wook, sent a video to congratulate the winners.

“This was one of the most difficult judging experiences I’ve ever had,” Director Park said in a statement. “I’ve participated in many film award juries, but there were so many outstanding works, each with such strong individuality, that ranking them felt nearly impossible.”

He added: “There were moments when I sighed and wondered if such a thing could even be done. I’m sure each of the judges came to their own unique conclusions, and those selected through this process truly deserve a big round of applause. They can be very proud of themselves.”

In a statement, Young said it has been an “honour and a privilege to be the jury president for the fifth annual Colour Awards.”

“We’ve had such a talented and diverse jury and seen some wonderful material through the process. It was great to bear witness to some of that material here at EnergaCAMERIMAGE to celebrate what is essentially the unsung warriors and heroes of our form, our colourists,” Young said. “They deserve so much attention and love for all the wonderful work that they do for us on the films that we love and watch. A huge congratulations to this year’s winners, nominees and entrants – they are all winners.”
