Fans of Attack the Block finally have some new information about the long-awaited sequel. During a recent Reddit Ama promoting his movie The Running Man, director Edgar Wright was asked about Attack the Block 2. Wright said the film isn’t his project, but confirmed that Joe Cornish, who wrote and directed the original, is currently working on it.

“Not my movie, but Joe has written a sequel and hopes to make it next year,” Wright shared.
