And while King Charles is footing Andrew’s relocation bill to Sandringham (where he’ll live essentially in exile) Fergie is fresh out of luck.
Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop reports that the former duchess has been looking into a “major relocation” to either Palm Beach or Beverly Hills, and wants to escape “relentless scrutiny” in England.
“America feels like freedom to her,” a source says. “In London, the whispers never stop. In the U.S., she thinks she can blend in with every other famous face who reinvented themselves.”
Apparently Fergie has been surveying areas where she could live a luxurious life while also being “anonymous-ish,” and ultimately “she thinks a clean slate in America is her last real shot.”
FYI, this comes amid the Daily Mail reporting that Fergie will be moving into Princess Eugenie’s £3.6 million mansion in Portugal. According to that outlet, Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have prepared a “grand suite” in their villa, and a neighbor claimed, “Fergie will be arriving sometime in January.”
Another insider told the Daily Express, “How long she’ll stay is anyone’s guess but if it’s a long-term move, I can guarantee she’ll fit well into the social scene. Scores of celebrities and stars have been snapping up properties in the area.”
