I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here is back for its 2025 series, and has already kicked things off in a dramatic way. Comedian Ruby Wax and content creator Angryginge were the first picked to take on the iconic eating challenge.
And despite getting off to a rough start with viewers, who branded her “rude” after telling off Angryginge for standing in her light, Ruby tackling some gag-worthy snacks had fans changing their opinion of her.
The duo headed down to the trail clearing where presenters Ant and Dec were stood in The Divey with a large banquet table in front of them.
They then presented each celebrity with a range of jungle delights, each one worth a meal for their camp.
Ruby was served a witchety grub topped with a cricket crouton, a cow’s teet with a garnish of duck tongue coulis, vomit fruit, a pig’s testicle and finished it all off with the tip of a bull’s penis.
Taking to X/Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Fair play to Ruby, she handled that challenge like a champ and was comedy gold with ginge. Opinion officially changed.”
“People moaning about Ruby Wax are now seeing her true comedic self,” another added, while a third wrote: “Ruby is a lot funnier than I thought she was going to be.”
“Angry Ginge and Ruby Wax, the duo we never knew we needed, obsessed with them!!” wrote another.
Angryginge was also offered a variety of delights, including a selection of giant cockroaches and mealworms, a bull’s tongue with a fish eye glaze, six snails with a beachworm reduction, a camel’s toe.
He finished with a dish called the Benedict Bum-berbatch, a crocodile’s anus that had him reaching for the sick bucket.
But despite some serious retching, he managed to keep down the snack meaning they completed all 10 challenges offered to them.
Despite feeling quite sick afterwards, the duo went back to camp and announced they would be eating well that night.
I’m a Celebrity is on nightly on ITV and ITVX from Sunday 16 Nov at 9pm.
