He first performed in Sioux Falls 40 years ago, singing his “Brady Bunch” and “Like a Virgin” parodies at The Coliseum.
Then he came back twice in the early 2000s, introducing us to his viral sensations “Amish Paradise” and “Smells Like Nirvana.”
Now he’s back, “bigger and weirder” than ever (if possible?).
Weird Al Yankovic will perform June 30 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
He performed for over half a million fans this past year, but “they weren’t sick of us yet,” Yankovic said, so he’s hopping back on the road for a historic 90-city tour running May-October of 2026, including a stop on June 24 in Rapid City before coming to Sioux Falls.
His original eight-piece band is coming along, as are multiple costumes, for the “supersized comedy-rock spectacle.”
Ticket sales for the U.S. tour begin Nov. 21.
But can that be topped? 2025 was unprecedented with new festivals welcoming Kid Rock, TLC and Pitbull. South Dakota native Mato Wayuhi headlined the All My Relatives music festival at The Levitt, and Sioux Falls natives The Spill Canvas returned.
The Levitt also hosted its inaugural ADA Festival honoring the history of disability rights.
The set list for 2026 is not slowing down. Returning favorites for next year include Eric Church and Toby Mac. New to town will be comedian Nate Bergatze and up-and-coming country singer Bailey Zimmerman.

Levitt at the Falls, which has begun a major expansion for 2026, plans to announce its summer lineup in May.
