So many artists, so many songs, so little time. MIYA FOLICK – “MAYBE WHEN I’M READY”
The deluxe edition of Miya Folick’s 2025 album Erotica Veronica is out on January 2 via Nettwerk, and she’s shared one of the unreleased tracks on it, “Maybe When I’m Ready.” “It is about that point in a relationship when you know it needs to end, but you aren’t able to put your cells into motion to make that happen,” she says. “I wrote it with Alex Casnoff, hunched over an acoustic guitar on the floor of his studio.”

RICO NASTY – “PEPPER”
“Shout out to the DMV for that eight count – we listened to a bunch of Baby Jamo and SlimeGetEm,” Rico Nasty says of her new Kenneth Blume-produced single. “I opened up to Kenny about how living in California made me feel like I lost the essence of trap music so I tapped into some of the artists I was listening to and just made a Rico version. When we made it, it wasn’t supposed to come out because it was almost like a warm up record. After playing it for a lot of friends and playing it on some nights out, I realized it was much more than that. This song was just all around fun to make and I missed working with Kenny and watching the songs be built from start to finish.”

THE BOUNCING SOULS – “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”
NJ punks The Bouncing Souls are getting in the festive spirit with a new original acoustic holiday song, named after their annual holiday show.

GOOD SLEEPY – “ZZZ”
Central Massachusetts emo/post-hardcore band Good Sleepy will release their sophomore album Constant Humming on February 13 and here’s the Title Fight-esque new single “ZZZ.”

ESTHER ROSE – “THAT’S MY DJ” & “HEATHER”
Alt-country singer Esther Rose has shared two new songs from the sessions for this year’s very good Want.

CONWAY THE MACHINE – “DIAMONDS” (ft. ROC MARCIANO)
The year isn’t over yet and here’s a late-2025 album to get excited about: Griselda’s Conway The Machine will release You Can’t Kill God With Bullets on December 12 via Drumwork/Roc Nation. First single “Diamonds” was produced by in-house Griselda producer Conductor Williams, and it finds Conway trading bars with another rapper who’s helped keep gritty ’90s-style boom bap alive throughout the 2010s and 2020s, Roc Marciano. They make for a dynamic duo and they really feed off of each other on this track.

OVERMONO – “PARADISE RUNNER”

Ladytron’s new single “Kingdom Undersea” adds a little early-’90s baggy/madchester house to Ladytron’s icy sound.
