Gina Torres is taking a trip down memory lane.
The former Suits actress recently revisited her “old stomping ground” while walking through the streets of Toronto, where much of the popular legal drama happened to be filmed.
Gina Torres Revisits Iconic Suits Filming Location
In a new video posted to Instagram on Sunday, roughly six years since Suits wrapped, Torres filmed herself walking by the recognizable skyscraper building that served as one of the show’s most iconic filming locations.
The building, the Bay Adelaide Centre in Toronto, was the real-life location for the fictional law firm on the show, which was set in New York. The giant building, covered in glass windows, notably appeared in the intro to Suits and was the setting for a number of exterior shots and office building scenes from the show.
In her Instagram video on Sunday—which was set to the tune of the Suits theme song, “Greenback Boogie” by Ima Robot—Torres, 56, could be seen walking down a Toronto street and giving a little smirk to the camera as she passed the landmark building that Suits fans know all too well.
“Old Stomping Ground,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “More Comfortable Shoes.”
She also added the hashtag, #IYKYK, which stands for, “If you know, you know,” while telling her followers and fans, “Love Ya’ll ✨”
Suits Fans Are Sent Into a Frenzy over Gina Torres’ Teasing New Post
“Please ma’am … don’t play with my heart like this ❤️❤️” one of Torres’ fans gushed under the Instagram post, which practically sent her followers spiraling over the idea of her being back in her old environment.
“Forever JESSICA PEARSON ❤️” someone else wrote, while another emotional fan added, “Awe stop it! Giving all the feels ❤️.”
Even Sarah Rafferty, who co-starred in the series as Donna Paulsen, chimed in to comment, “Not me crying over here….😢😍” under Torres’ post.
What Happened to the Suits Reboot?
Though Torres’ post prompted some of her followers to wonder if the actress would be “coming back” to her iconic role, a return from Jessica Pearson is not super likely.
Torres already starred in the spinoff series, Pearson, in 2019, which only lasted for one 10-episode season. Suits was revived again earlier this year with Suits LA, though it was canceled by NBC after just one season.
