Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was spotted horseriding in Berkshire on Monday morning. The former Duke of York was spotted near Windsor Castle.
It is the first time he has been seen in public since losing his Royal titles and being evicted from the Royal Lodge. Andrew was spotted looking rather gloomy on his recent horse-riding outing. Pressure is mounting on the former prince with Sir Keir Starmer heaping pressure on him to give evidence to the US Congress about what he knows about the notorious Jeffrey Epstein.
The prime minister said those who are caught up in child sexual offence cases should disclose any information they have.
Asked whether Andrew should respond to the US House oversight committee, Starmer said those with “relevant information” should share it.
Sir Keir told reporters at the G20 summit in South Africa: “Anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kinds of cases should give evidence.”
Pressed on whether that would apply to Andrew, the prime minister said: “In the end that will be a decision for him. But my general position is, if you have relevant information you should be prepared to share it.”
Andrew is not legally obliged to talk to Congress and has always vigorously denied any wrongdoing.
