Last night, Billie Eilish wrapped up her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in San Francisco. Following this, she announced an exciting update about her 3D concert film, which is set to release on March 20, 2026, in partnership with Paramount. The film will be co-directed by Eilish and James Cameron.
Announcing the news on her Instagram, Eilish wrote on her Instagram, “This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [James Cameron] has truly been a dream come true. Can’t wait for you all to see it.”
Billie hinted at the arrival of the film back in July during a four-night residency at Co-op Live in Manchester. Explaining the fans about the unusual number of cameras being set up, she said, “So, you may have noticed there are more cameras than usual up here. Basically, I can’t say much about it, but I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D.”
She added, “So take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him.”
Eilish began the world tour of her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, in September 2024, performing around 100 shows worldwide.
