Blake Lively has fled the United States for some respite from her ongoing lawsuit.
Since the beginning of the year, the Gossip Girl star, 38, has been embroiled in her legal battle with Justin Baldoni, 41, who acted as her director and co-star in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book It Ends With Us.
Now that she has secured a major win in her lawsuit, she, and her husband Ryan Reynolds have treated themselves to a quick getaway to Wrexham, UK to get out of the spotlight.
The Deadpool actor spends a lot of time across the pond due to his co-ownership of the Welsh soccer club Wrexham AFC.
According to Radar Online, Humphrey Ker, British actor and executive producer to the team, said Ryan and his wife are able to give all their attention to the team when in town.
Justin has since denied the claims and filed a $400 million lawsuit against her and her husband for defamation, however, that has since been thrown out by the judge.
The most recent development in the lawsuit doesn’t involve the director, but rather the film’s producer, Wayfarer Studios’ Jamey Heath.
After Blake claimed he had shown her an unwarranted video of his wife, Natasha, giving homebirth, a judge has requested, “Heath shall produce the footage within three days of this Order.”
The actress’ team sees the video as a critical piece of evidence and should be included in the discovery process.
Wayfarer’s team denies Blake was shown an inappropriate video and is simply using this as a way to “cull through highly intimate and personal footage to find the portions that match her narrative.”
All parties are still set to go to trial on March 9, 2026.
