If the lack of snow on the ground has made it difficult for you to get into the spirit of the season, then maybe one of the following holiday-themed events will help. There are concerts, plays and even a panto. Here’s a look at what’s coming to a stage near you before Dec. 25 (and after):

Until Dec. 13: Domino Theatre presents “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly. Davies Foundation Auditorium, 52 Church St. 7:30 p.m. $20 plus fee.

28: The Kingston Baroque Consort offers “Baroque Christmas Treats” with pieces by Handel, Corelli, Boyce and Vivaldi on the playlist. St. James Anglican Church, 10 Union St. 5:15 p.m. $25.

29: She Sings! Women’s Choir, under the direction of new artistic director Emily McPherson and pianist Kristin Rae, performs “Winter Dreams” with violinist Andrew Dicker, cellist Jeff Hamacher and percussionist Jon Barton joining them. Chalmers United Church, 212 Barrie St. 7:30 p.m. $25, $15 for students.

29: The Isabel Voices twice perform “A Festive Celebration” featuring music by Gjeilo, Forrest, and Hagenberg, and guest harpist Caroline Leonardelli. Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, 390 King St. W. 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $34 for adults, $29 for seniors.

1: The third “Christmas with Johnny Reid” stops in Kingston. Grand Theatre. 7:30 p.m. $69.50, $89.50.

3: The Blind Boys of Alabama play seasonal songs from their Grammy-winning Go Tell it on the Mountain and more. Kingston’s Chantal Thompson is the special guest. Grand Theatre. 7:30 p.m. $53.50, $69.50 plus HST and handling fee.

3: Newfoundland’s Ennis Sisters come to town with their annual Christmas concert tour. The Spire, 82 Sydenham St. $37.50, $42.50.

4-6: Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School presents Elf: The Musical. 7 p.m. (and 1 p.m. on the 6th).

5: Miss Emily returns with her annual Christmas show. Isabel Bader Centre. 7:30 p.m. $63, $72.

6: The Kingston Choral Society hosts a Christmas party featuring readings from A Christmas Carol and a carol sing-along with the choir. The Spire. 7 p.m. $25.

6: The Trinitas Youth Singers present “Joyful Tidings: Seven centuries of Music for Advent and Christmas,” with pieces by Bach and Handel, among many others. St. John’s Anglican Church, 41 Church St. 2 p.m. Free-will offering.

6: Irish ensemble Danu brings “An Emerald Isle Christmas” to Kingston.  Grand Theatre. 7:30 p.m. $44.50, $54.50 plus HST and handling fee.

6: The Kingston Blues Society hosts “A Bluesy Christmas” with dinner and music by Soulfire. RCHA Club, 3rd floor, 193 Ontario St. $75.

7: The Kingston Symphony Orchestra is joined by soprano Jacqueline Woodley, mezzo soprano Adanya Dunn, tenor Scott Rumble, baritone David John Pike and The Isabel Voices to perform Handel’s Messiah. Isabel Bader Centre. 2:30 p.m. $53, $30, plus HST and handling fee.

8, 9: Ballet Jorgen performs The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition. Grand Theatre. 6:30 p.m. Both shows are sold out.

10: “Christmas at the Movies” features holiday favourites from the silver screen performed by the Frontenac Community Concert Band and the C&E Garrison Band. The Spire. 7 p.m. Admission by donation ($10 is suggested), with proceeds going toward the Benevolent Food Voucher Program.

12: The Bela Voca Chorus is joined by the KSS Band perform “Do You Believe in Magic?” The Spire. 7 p.m. $30 plus HST and handling fee.

13: Orchestra Kingston performs “Holiday Magic” with guest violinist Alessia Dudley and the Kingston Capital Men’s Chorus. The Spire. $25.
