Princess Eugenie has been pictured enjoying a festive day with her family at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland. The mother-of-two looked in good spirits as she enjoyed the rides with her little ones.
The 35-year-old looked relaxed as she enjoyed a hot dog and sweet treats from the central London winter event. She was all smiles as she held onto her sons August, four and Ernest, two, at the annual outdoor funfair.
Dressed in a brown belted coat, Eugenie wore a grey top paired with jeans to keep things stylish and comfortable in the cold weather.
During the fun outing, Eugenie also was seen wearing a black cross-body bag and orange plastic sunglasses to shield her eyes.
Princess Eugenie seemed to put her troubles aside as her father’s world continues to cave in around him.
The Princess was seen on the bumper cars waving her hands around in joy. The art director at the Hauser & Wirth gallery, was later seen at the merry-go-round with the boys.
Eugenie, who is 12th in line to the throne and her sister Beatrice, who is ninth in line, will however retain their titles despite Andrew’s fall from grace.
Amid the controversy, as Andrew lost his titles, King Charles was said to have been very keen to “protect” nieces Eugenie and Beatrice, 37, who remain Her Royal Highnesses as granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth.
Buckingham Palace announced on October 17 that Andrew would stop using his remaining titles and honours and would no longer be known as the Duke of York. On October 30, it was revealed that Andrew would lose his prince title.
The royal website has also been updated and the line of succession entry appears as ‘Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’.
A series of allegations levelled at Eugenie’s parents and their involvement with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have also led to Andrew and Sarah being kicked out of the Royal Lodge.
