Are you starting your art backwards?

Do you paint the foreground first or the background first? If you start with the foreground and try to paint the background around it, it is a total pain.

But if you paint the background first, it is easy to add the foreground on top, and it looks so much better.

Do not make your art harder than it needs to be.
