Oregon Ren Faire: Huzzah, the Oregon Renaissance Faire returns in June to the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby for four weekends of adventure in the Vale of Dunrose. The event runs each weekend in June 13-14, 20-21, and 27-28 – with a different theme each weekend. Tickets are for specific days, so be aware. For more information, go to www.oregonfaire.com.

Joni Harms Plays: Joni Harms will be at the Aurora Vineyards on Thursday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. This will be an evening of wine and live music, so come dance, sip award-winning pours and enjoy chef-crafted bites. Jammin’ For A Cause: After a break of a few years, the Molalla River Summer Jam is coming back. This year’s show will be Saturday, June 13, beginning at 1 p.m. at Molalla River Brewing. The “Jam” is a benefit for former Molalla Police Chief Frank Schoenfeld, who was recently injured in a motorcycle accident. The concert is free, but donations will be taken. In addition to live music with multiple acts, there will be food trucks, raffles and more.

Canby’s Summer ‘Slice’: The 2026 Slice of Summer concert series in Canby will once again be held at the gazebo in Wait Park in downtown. The shows will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Sunday. There will be food vendors at the park and attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets. Here’s who’s playing: June 28 – CHS Jazz Band (Jazz from our next big stars) & Special Guest; July 26 – Bridgetown Get Down (80-90s pop covers), Aug. 9 – Cherrytree Road (country/folk), Aug. 23 – Norman Sylvester (rhythm & blues).

Molalla Music Returns: This year’s Molalla Music in the Park series will run Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fox Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for the performances. This year’s entertainment will be: Trent Beaver (June 30), Opera a la Cart (July 14), Timothy James (July 21), and Keenon Tichrob (July 28).

Woodburn Music: The annual Music in the Park series in Woodburn will run every Tuesday evening, July 7 to Aug. 11. Food and beverages open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s musical offerings are: July 7 – Castletown – Celtic & Americana; July 14 – Rock n’ Rewind – 60’s & 70’s Rock ‘n Roll; July 21 – Roundhouse Band – Country & Bluegrass; July 28 – Jon Deshler’s Tune Tours – Jazz; Aug. 4 – The Boneheads – Classic Rock; and Aug. 11 – Big Plans – Blues.

Harefest Magic Is Back: Harefest, the “Mother of All Tribute Band Festivals,” returns to the fairgrounds in Canby for three days of rockin’ good fun July 16-18.
The year’s shows will feature 24 tribute bands repping the look and sound of such bands as RUSH, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Boston, Fleetwood Mac and many others. For more information, or to buy tickets, go to harefest.com.

Molalla Library Spice: Molalla Public Library will offer new spice kits beginning June 9. The June kit will feature Green Goddess Dressing Base, hand-mixed from green onion, sugar, basil, minced garlic, and dill weed. Perfect for salads, dips, and sauces. Stop by the library to pick up your kit during June.

OMSI Jolts, Volts: Canby Public Library’s Make Lab will feature OMSI’s Jolts, Volts, and Wires on Wednesday, June 10, in two sessions – 4 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This program is for ages 8+ and require a waiver and registration. Prost To Summer: Mt. Angel will celebrate Prost to Summer on Friday, June 12, at 1 p.m. downtown. The events will feature crafts and activities for kids, food and craft vendors, an axe throwing trailer with a tournament and open throwing from 1 to 7 p.m. there will also be a live band, beer garden and car show from 5 to 8 p.m.

Sea Glass Creation: Stop by the teen room on Saturday, June 13, for some sea glass craft-making. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. Use sea glass to make artwork on a mini canvas, or create your own, custom jewelry.

Adulting At The Library: The Molalla Public Library has a full slate of events going on for adults this summer. These are for folks ages 18+
Monday, June 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. – Mexican Cooking Class. Samples will be provided. This class is for ages 14 and up. Registration is required by calling 503-829-2593.

Summer Reading: The Molalla Public Library’s Summer Reading Program runs June 15-July 31 and features reading challenges, free activities, and prizes for readers of all ages. Sign up at cityofmolalla.beanstock.org.

Mexican Cooking Class: Learn about tacos during the Molalla Public Library’s Mexican Cooking Class on Monday, June 15, at 5:30 p.m. Araceli will demonstrate how to make taxes with beef, al pastor, and soy. Vegetarian options will be available and samples will be provided. Registration is required – call 503-829-2593 or visit the circulation desk. This is for ages 14+.

Something For Teens: Teenagers will have plenty to see and do during the summer months at the Molalla Public Library.
These “Wild Wednesday” programs will be held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:

Wednesday, July 15: Floral Bath Bombs

Molalla Library Events: The Molalla Public Library will host a wide array of events for children and families this summer. They will be held on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:

Thursday, July 2: Bee Amazed! (at Fox Park)
Thursday, July 9: Butterfly Storytime (at Fox Park)

Thursday, July 30: Reptile Man (at Clark Park)

Robotics Information: Canby Public Library will host an Oregon Fire Robotics Info Session for Adults on Thursday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Willamette Room. Calling all parents, caregivers, and educators, you’re invited to the Canby Library to learn about FIRST LEGO League robotics programs for students in grades 2-8.

Tabletop Gaming: Stop by the Canby Public Library on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Teen Room, hosted by Lee. This program is for teens ages 13-18 and is a drop-in program.

Retro Joysticks: The Canby Public Library’s Maker Lab will feature a Retro Joystick Invention Launchpad program on Saturday, June 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. Build your own fully functional arcade-style joystick. This program is for ages 8+ and requires registration. All attendees are expected to have a signed waiver on file in order to enter the Maker Lab.

Bingo Action Coming: The District 63 firefighters will hold its 51st annual BINGO Night at the Donald Fire Station on Saturday, June 27, for dinner (5:30-6:30 p.m.) and Bingo (6:30 p.m.). The menu will include hamburgers or sausage dogs, chips and a drink for $7 and ice cream ($3) available as well. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $1 per game and $1 for each extra card.

All About Lego: Woodburn Public Library will host Lego Time on Fridays through May from 2 to 5 p.m. Participants can use their imagination to create their own designs.
