Just in time for Thanksgiving, Meghan Markle shared a Reel on Instagram announcing a pop up collaboration between Soho House and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in West Hollywood.
In the video montage, Meghan is checking the display of her As Ever products in the Soho House location, clapping her hands together excitedly. The Duchess of Sussex is wearing a black tank top with wide-legged black pants and a leather belt. In one shot, she passes by a mirror and can be seen wearing a chic khaki coat over the ensemble. On her feet are a pair of black ballet flats. Meghan was wearing a few simple pieces of gold jewelry, including a matching necklace and bracelet.
On display are some of As Ever’s famous jams and different wines.
In the caption, Meghan wrote, “Talk about a full circle moment! In my old stomping ground of West Hollywood, with a brand, family and friends that have been part of my life for so long…and also a part of my love story with H (since our very first date was at a SH restaurant).”
Meghan was referring to one of her first dates with her now husband, Prince Harry, in July 2016. He shared the story of their first meet up at the London Soho House location in his book, Spare. They were introduced through a mutual friend and started messaging on Instagram.
“Now: Where to meet? I suggested my place,” Harry wrote. “Your place? On a first date? I don’t think so,” he said Meghan replied. He was quick to reassure her he did not mean anything suggestive by it.
“She didn’t realize that being royal meant being radioactive, that I was unable to just meet at a coffee shop or pub,” he explained.
Meghan suggested Soho House and the rest is history.
