Bengaluru’s much-loved Echoes of Earth festival returns for its eighth edition on December 13 and 14 at the Embassy International Riding School. Recognised by A Greener Future (AGF) as Asia’s most environmentally progressive music festival, Echoes of Earth brings back its signature blend of world-class music, large-scale upcycled art installations and eco-driven storytelling. This year’s theme, The Sixth Sense, delving into the unseen genius of the natural world, celebrating nature’s intelligence beyond the five senses. The organiers describe the festival as a way to urge audiences to connect deeper with the planet, and explore the natural forces that shape ecosystems, spark human innovation and expand how we understand the world.

The festival is open to all furry Sustainability and art step into the spotlightSpread across 170 acres, the festival will feature over 30 artistic installations and four immersive stages crafted entirely from upcyclaced, reclaimed, and waste materials, including crowdsourced e-waste, solar panel waste, and discarded instruments. As a strictly no-plastic, no-flex festival, all signage will be hand-painted on repurposed materials. In addition, the festival’s sustainability measures include a 100 kVA solar-powered box office, flea, and food market, a food court run on compressed biogas (CBG), all artist transfers via electric vehicles, and a commitment to being a fully zero-plastic, zero-waste event.
