International singer-songwriter Anthony Nunziata chatted about his new holiday music, his future plans, and being a part of the digital age.

How did you approach the song selection process for the new album ‘Christmas & You’?

I wanted the album to capture the full range of holiday feelings … joy, nostalgia, love, reflection, while still feeling fresh and personal.

All of the songs are originals and so to choose some of my babies over others was a little tricky.

My goal was to curate an album that told stories that moved me the most so that, in turn, hopefully, the listener will be moved as well.

What’s your personal favorite song on there?

I’m proud of all of them, I really am. The first and last songs of the album, “My Every Wish” and “Heavenly Father,” go from Phil Spector Motown vibes to an intimate guitar-only accompaniment.

It’s that range I hoped to really explore in this album, to take the listener on a journey that weaves in and around our heart and memories.

What inspires your music and songwriting?

Truth, life, connection, and the small moments that matter, the things that make us feel deeply.

What do your plans for the future include?

I’m writing new songs for the next couple of albums, working on recording projects, and a TV show that will be announced soon.

Of course, continuing to perform live and connect with audiences. Performing live brings me the most joy.

How does it feel to be an artist in the digital age?

It’s exciting because music can reach so many people instantly, but it’s also a reminder that connection is everything, making sure your music still feels personal and meaningful.

When I record, I like to do full takes so it feels like a live recording, so the listener feels like I’m singing to them, right there, in that moment.

What is your advice for young and emerging artists?

Keep writing and stay true to your voice. Collaborate, take risks, and don’t be afraid to explore genres and emotions that feel authentic to you.

Be fearlessly authentic in all you do. What’s out there for you, what’s meant for you, it will find you.

What does the word success mean to you?

Success is happiness and connection, touching people through music, sharing moments that make them feel something deeply, knowing my work hopefully brings joy and love and a reminder that you’re not alone.

What would you like to say to your fans about your new music? What’s the one thing you want them to get out of it?

I hope this album brings warmth, magic, and a little hope. I want listeners to feel all the emotions of the season and maybe take a moment to connect with themselves and the people they love.
