Miley Cyrus to marry drummer boyfriend Maxx Morando (reports)

Miley Cyrus is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend, musician Maxx Morando. A source confirmed the news to People, following initial reports from Page Six.

Speculation that the pair were engaged started on Monday, after the “Flowers” singer walked the red carpet at the “Avatar: Fire and Ash” world premiere in Los Angeles wearing a massive diamond ring.

The ring, reportedly first spotted on Cyrus in mid-November per the celebrity gossip account Deux Moi, was designed by Jacquie Aiche and features a cushion-cut stone set on a 14-karat yellow gold band.

Morando, 27, who drums for the band Liily, was first linked romantically to the “Hannah Montana” alum in December 2021 during the taping of “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.”

Their romance was seemingly confirmed by a public kiss in West Hollywood in April 2022. The relationship reportedly began with a “blind date” that Cyrus, who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth, described as being “more blind” for her.

The couple’s bond has strengthened over the years, with an insider telling People in March 2024 that the two had moved in together. “She is very happy with him,” the source said, noting that Cyrus “seems more calm and harmonious.”

The singer herself has emphasized the importance of their connection, telling The Cut, “My man’s hot as hell … but my man also respects me.” Their relationship is also professional: Morando collaborated on two tracks for her 2023 album, “Endless Summer Vacation,” and worked on her ninth album, “Something Beautiful.”
