Marley readers theater show goes on the road to Cannon Beach

CANNON BEACH — The Astoria Readers Theater production of a new play about Jacob Marley is going on the road.
“Marley’s Last Chance” will be performed at the Coaster Theatre, 108 N. Hemlock St., in Cannon Beach.
Performances in the readers theater format are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10, Dec. 16 and 17.
Admission is by donation at the door.
The show is directed by Susi Brown. The play envisages how Marley received permission to visit Scrooge with his life-changing message.
Actors appearing are Arnie Hummasti as Marley, Jason Hussa and Brandy Hussa as St. Peter and his asistant, and William Ham, Gigi Chadwick and Slab Slabinski as prominent actors from the past.
The author, Rick Gray, is a resident of Cannon Beach. Its premiere was in Astoria in November.
