Meghan Markle has launched a new product for her As Ever brand, hours after their Netflix Christmas special was savaged by critics. The Duchess of Sussex debuted a new trio of chocolate bars, costing £9 each ($12) and described them as “perfect for stocking stuffers, elevated last-minute gifting, and sharing with guests”.
As Ever’s new chocolate bars come in three flavours – milk chocolate with shortbread cookies and bee pollen, dark chocolate with raspberry spread and sea salt and white chocolate with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts.
The latest offering by As Ever is “curated by Meghan and crafted by Compartés chocolatier and tastemaker Jonathan Grahm”.
Meghan posted a new video on her Instagram stories announcing the launch. In it, she can be seen alongside Ms Graham looking gleefully at the chocolate bars, which are limited edition.
The brand said the latest drop comes from a “small batch,” adding: “Each bar comes wrapped in bespoke botanical-print paper—together, they form a gorgeous garden triptych so beautiful, all you need is a bow.”
It comes as Meghan’s Netflix Christmas was savaged by the British media ever since its release. The one-off episode, titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, aired on the same day the King and Queen hosted the German state visit, and just hours after the Princess of Wales published a personal letter to guests attending her annual carol concert on Friday.
It follows the first two seasons of With Love, Meghan and comes after the Sussexes signed their new watered-down, first-look deal with the streaming giant back in August.
