Everyone in sports knows this much: Arthur Blank solves problems, drives growth and isn’t afraid of a turnaround project. Because of that track record and reputation, when the most important people in sports have a challenge, they call Blank. Look at the results: The Atlanta Falcons, one of the NFL’s least successful team businesses for decades, turned around almost instantly under his ownership. Atlanta United FC was perhaps the most successful expansion team launch in any sport. PGA Tour Superstores, and indeed the entire PGA Tour, found new life thanks to his money and mind. Blank received SBJ’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.
