The holiday season is in full swing, and the royal christmas cards are starting to arrive. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco shared their family’s holiday portrait over the weekend, featuring their 10-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, as well as one of the family’s beloved dogs, an eight-year-old rescue chihuahua named Harley. “The Princely Family is pleased to share their greeting card with you,” the Palace shared in a brief message written in four languages (French, Italian, and English). “Wishing all Monegasques the warmest and happiest Christmas season.”
Many families choose matching pajamas for their Christmas cards, and while the Monegasque royals skipped that tradition here, their outfits still revealed some coordination. Father and son complemented each other with matching blue blazers and white shirts. Princess Gabriella wore a demure pink dress with silver Mary Jane flats, while Princess Charlene wore a shimmery silver turtleneck dress with a tooled-buckle calf-suede belt, both by Ralph Lauren. Unfortunately, both items are both sold out, although there is a similar version of the dress in black still available.
Monaco’s royal family has been busy this holiday season already. Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques had the honor of being able to activate the light show at the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Monte Carlo’s famed casino.
Harley also recently joined Princess Charlene for a public engagement in November. The Princess carried the pup during the second annual Rokethon solidarity walk against animal abandonment and cruelty. Also President of Monaco’s Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) since 2022, Charlene is one of Europe’s most active royal advocates for animal rights.
