Prince Harry has delivered another comedic jab aimed at Donald Trump – this time targeting his immigration policies.
The Duke’s latest quip at the president surfaced just 48 hours following his previous mockery of Trump during his guest spot on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Harry delivered these remarks while speaking at a British American Business Council (BABC) gathering in Santa Monica.
He addressed the organization’s 65th anniversary luncheon on the very same day Trump was attending the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Acknowledging that both England and Scotland have secured spots in next year’s tournament, which will take place across the US, Canada, and Mexico, he stated: “Next year, I know we are looking forward to welcoming more Brits from across the pond.”
During the comedy bit, the Duke strolled around the television studio, making light of being lost while seeking an audition for the “Gingerbread Christmas Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska” When Colbert questioned why an actual prince would pursue such roles, Harry responded: “You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?”.
As Colbert challenged the notion of American “obsession,” Harry delivered a sharp comeback: “Really? I hear you elected a king,” seemingly alluding to the “No Kings” demonstrations targeting the Trump administration.
Harry has faced persistent criticism from Trump ever since he and Meghan made the bold choice to step down as senior royals and relocate to America over four years ago.
During the 2020 presidential race between Trump and Joe Biden, the Sussexes released a video encouraging Americans to ‘vote against hate speech’.
Though they avoided naming specific individuals, their comments were widely viewed as targeting Trump and backing Biden, with critics arguing this violated the Sandringham Summit agreement established when the couple relinquished their Royal responsibilities in 2020.
Subsequently, Trump declared he was “no fan” of Meghan.
More recently this year, Harry became embroiled in controversy regarding his visa status that permits his residence in California.
After confessing to using marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms in his controversial memoir Spare, a lawsuit from the conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation, suggested that the US Government should disclose records about the Duke’s US visa application to reveal whether his drug use was declared.
Back in February, Trump dismissed the idea of deporting Harry, but took a harsh jab at Harry’s wife, Meghan, stating: “I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Harry seemed to respond during a speech at the Invictus Games a day later by criticizing the “weak moral character in the world.”
