Queen Camilla did not miss out on the landmark family moment between Prince Harry and King Charles.

As it was speculated, a meeting did happen between the monarch and his son, which the Queen Consort reportedly bore witness to alongside Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Queen Camilla’s relationship with Prince Harry and his wife has been marked with some alleged heated moments in the past, including reservations that the royal does not have a mind of his own around the former actress.

The reunion reportedly happened on July 10 at the king’s country estate in Highgrove House, where he was able to spend some time with his two grandkids, whom he had not seen much of since their birth. As expected, Meghan accompanied the trio with Camilla as the surprise addition.

According to royal writer Robert Jobson, “The Queen was there for a reason. To make sure that everything was witnessed.” Her presence reportedly served as a method of preventing a repeat of the Sussexes’ secret spilling rampage, which happened after they left the royal palace in 2020.

This way, nobody else may likely know what happened in that room, and if a leak happens, the culprits would be easily identifiable. The late Queen Elizabeth had set the tone for this kind of meeting when she would not take Harry’s calls without anyone present in the room.

As noted by Page Six, the late monarch was the one who also kicked against the duo bringing along a photographer to capture her meeting Princess Lilibet for the first time.

The king, who is currently battling cancer at age 77, has been open to the idea of meeting his son and grandchildren for a while now. Fully aware of his age and how deteriorating his condition may get, the king does not intend to spend the remaining years of his life leaving any stone unturned.

Following the meeting, Harry reportedly told a few guests at the Time 100 gala last week that his father was doing great as he continues to get treatment for his undisclosed condition.

The author was also gushing to the guests that his wife and children are happy to be home in California after their short, yet impactful visit to the United Kingdom.

In his controversial book “Spare,” Harry had recalled how much he and his brother Prince William begged their father not to marry Camilla. Harry claimed he watched his stepmother trade inside information about him with tabloid journalists to clear the path for her to become Queen Consort.

Earlier in the year, a royal biographer revealed that Camilla had shared some of her thoughts about Harry and Meghan’s relationship with a close friend of hers right after they tied the knot in 2018.

Perhaps the Queen had been aware of a verbal confrontation that occurred between Meghan, Harry and William after they returned from their honeymoon getaway in the Mediterranean.

During that heated argument, Meghan had told William to get his hands out of her face, making Camilla and Kate Middleton believe that Harry had lost control of the wheels of his new marriage.

However, the couple kicked back at Bower’s claims, and dismissed his untrue stories as another ploy to create a career from cooking up stories about people he does not know or has not met.

Bower had also claimed that Meghan’s alleged concerns about her husband never becoming king left a bad impression about her in the minds of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Harry’s long-standing security situation in the United Kingdom came back on the radar in the weeks leading up to his visit to the United Kingdom.

As shared by The Blast, the Netflix star had requested for his taxpayer-funded security be restored to guarantee his full safety alongside his wife and kids, but this was not granted.

Coupled with that, the invitation for his stay in one of the royal estates was also withdrawn days after he reportedly accepted the offer, further intensifying the tension surrounding his reported meeting with the king.

However, the calm and collected nature of the eventual meeting and the arrival of his wife and kids on British soil pivoted the conversation into another direction.

Richard Kay, a royal expert, revealed during a podcast appearance that Harry handled the whole situation with much more drama than it originally required, and it may have ignorantly set the tone for future visits.

“By and large, they can slip in and out. All this talk that Harry’s in danger and he needs this wraparound security – well, anonymity is the best form of security of all. No one can cause them harm,” he added.

He continued that the lack of photographs of when they landed and where they came from is proof that the UK is not as dangerous for them as they claim to be, and the public may not be interested in their affairs like they thought.

The couple is reportedly considering rebuilding broken bonds with their loved ones, which were made worse after years of public dispute, headline-making interviews, and legal battles. Harry may reportedly be strongly considering making a second visit to the United Kingdom later in the year.

Another rumored reason behind his decision was credited to his current situation in the United States, as his dreams have not taken shape the way he wished they would. Harry reportedly feels the wrong American dream was sold to him and the grass is not exactly greener on the other side.
