Ever wondered where your favorite stars take their kids to play? When it comes to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, we have at least one answer.
On Tuesday night, as they stepped out in New York City with their two eldest children, sons RZA Athelston and Riot Rose, the chic parents headed to Complete Playground, a massive indoor play space in the Financial District that was founded as a “non-profit inclusive family center” for city kids.
The master of mom-on-duty fashion, Rihanna mixed fabrics for the December outing, pairing fur with silk Chanel scarves in shades of blue, orange, and brown. Peeking out from her fluffy brown coat, which was designed with exaggerated lapels and a boxy silhouette, her slouchy white top shimmered with subtle silver embellishments. For bottoms, she picked a pair of wide-leg, dark gray jeans with decorative seams and a zipped pocket down her thigh, and for shoes, she slipped into pointy burgundy heels. In her hand, she debuted her latest vintage find—a single-strap Gucci bag from Tom Ford’s Autumn/Winter 1999 collection.
On her hip, her son Riot matched her blues with his pacifier—a pop of color to contrast against his gray sweatpants, velcro Fenty x Puma sneakers (he’s his mom’s best model), and the cutest little Moncler coat. The cozy black piece was trimmed with waterproof shine, making it weather-appropriate for the little guy.
As for his brother, RZA, the parents layered him in a navy zip-up jacket over a sky-blue tracksuit. The highlight, though, was his tiny UGG boots, which matched the teddy bear logo on his outerwear.
For Rocky, the family outing called for a Chanel-on-Chanel look—from his knitted winter hat to his varsity-style zip-up hoodie and all the way down to his heeled burgundy loafers. He kept things classic with a long plaid coat, and he carried a maroon satchel bag in one hand, while the other was reserved for holding his son RZA’s.
No surprise to see these parents already instilling a love of fashion while their kids are young.
