Lydic aired clips of Trump’s wacky rally ramblings on his various names for Joe Biden and his claim that Black people “know a scam better than anybody,”
“At least no one was thinking about the Epstein files anymore,” Lydic said.
Lydic reacted to the clip — which has been mocked due to Trump sounding like he’s saying “minors” — with a straight face.
Lydic recalled the moment she was watching Fox News’ live coverage of the rally with closed captioning turned on.
“This is completely real,” said Lydic as she highlighted a clip showing the captioner writing “minors” under Trump before quickly realizing the error.
“Delete, delete, delete!”
The “Daily Show” crowd erupted in laughter and applause.
“Whoopsie! That’s what Fox gets for hiring Prince Andrew to do the captions,” she joked.
