Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Jim Curtis have been romantically linked since July 2025, but they reportedly talked for months before their friendship evolved into something more. A source speaking with People says that the Friends star was “cautious” when she first started speaking to Curtis, but then she “just went for it.”
The pair spent a lot of time “chatting and getting to know each other” first.
“Jen really valued their friendship in the beginning of the year,” the insider shared. “When it all took a turn to something more romantic, she was cautious at first. Now, she’s excited that she just went for it.”
The source said it “feels like kismet” that they have met and The Morning Show star “truly loves” the influencer.
“He’s brought so many good things into her life,” they added.
In her November 2025 ELLE Women in Hollywood interview, Aniston spoke about Curtis, sharing her admiration for his work as a life coach.
“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does,” she shared. “He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people. He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
That same week, another source speaking with People said, “Their relationship is different. She’s very excited about it.”
They continued, “It’s obvious that she admires him. She talks about how he has amazing energy, and she loves what he does for living, because it truly helps people, including herself.”
Curtis is “kind and grounded.”
“She acts like she feels very safe with him. She’s really in a great place,” said the source. “They both liked little rituals and moments that are grounding. They are both into symbolism.”
