Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly turned to Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kris Jenner to help salvage their “battered reputations”, after attending her 70th birthday party last month. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly “networked” at the party, with one source telling RadarOnline: “Meghan was like a kid in a candy store, networking and handing out her details to everyone who came their way.
“She has the utmost respect for Kris and is pretty awestruck that she’s now on a first-name basis with the likes of Kim [Kardashian], Khloe [Kardashian] and their vast network of friends.” It comes after the couple were allegedly “dumped” by their other famous friends, including the Beckhams and the Clooneys.
The source claimed that Meghan and Harry have offered to appear in new episodes of The Kardashians.
It comes after Meghan “put the final nail in her Hollywood coffin” by tying her name to a new documentary about Girl Scouts, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
Cookie Queens is partnering with Archewell Productions for the documentary, with Meghan telling Deadline: “When we first viewed the early footage of this documentary, it was immediately something we wanted to be involved in.
“The creative point of view, the edgy yet humanising tone and tenor of the directing, and the glimpse behind-the-scenes into such a nostalgic and also modern tradition of Girl Scout cookie season are absolutely irresistible.”
Instead of consenting to appear in the upcoming Suits revival or returning to acting, Meghan has instead been dabbling in lifestyle content with her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, and the launch of her brand As Ever.
Harry has even been appearing on late night US chat shows – and was booed by the crowd.
