DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — An all-in-one trampoline park, restaurant and rock climbing facility could be coming to one city in Central Illinois.
The Danville City Council voted Tuesday night with everyone in approval of this project. The city’s community development administrator, Logan Cronk, said that it would replace the old Carle building on W. Fairchild St. He added that the space is a perfect fit with its high ceilings, but the inside would have to be completely demolished.

One of the best parts, Cronk said, is this project would come at no cost to the taxpayers. He sees this as a positive addition to Danville.
“This is all about momentum. I’m already thinking about the next ten steps forward. If and when these projects get approved, these are major tenants that, typically, other businesses like to follow. There has been some negative news about the City of Danville in the last couple of weeks. We need some wins, and, hopefully, we’ll just take that snowball and keep rolling it down the hill,” Cronk said.
In another vote on Tuesday, the council also approved the demolition of the former Red Lobster with Danville’s in-house demolition team. A developer already has a vision for bringing a restaurant that Cronk is calling a high income generator.
