Swift has become far more comfortable with showing her inner world to fans, sources told Us Weekly, and Kelce is a large reason why.
Insiders discussed the couple’s relationship and how Kelce’s love profoundly changed Swift. They also shared an update on the couple’s wedding plans, while a source spoke to People about the work the NFL player and singer have put into their relationship this year.
Of Swift’s transformation, a source told Us Weekly, “Taylor used to be super type A, but she’s become more spontaneous. The armor is off. She’s trying to live a more unfiltered life.”
That shift is largely due to Kelce, sources told Us. Over two years into dating him, “Taylor is visibly lighter and laughing a lot more,” the first source said. “Travis gives her a fearless playfulness and the confidence to take up space unapologetically. [That has allowed her] to be softer and more vulnerable in front of the world.”
A second source said that Swift doesn’t feel the need to hide any part of herself around her fiancé: “Travis has given Taylor a sense of calm. He supports her in ways that she could have never imagined, and he never expects her to perform or curate a persona around him. That kind of ease has given her permission to be her real self.”
“They bring out the best in each other,” the source continued. “It’s always light between them, and although they have serious life conversations, they really don’t argue or fight.”
Both insiders offered new details on the couple’s wedding plans. “Taylor wants the lead-up to her wedding to Travis to feel grounded and not chaotic,” the second source said.
Kelce is helping Swift with the planning, though he is letting her take the lead. “Taylor thinks it’s cute [he’s involved], and it’s something they have been bonding over,” the insider said.
