The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new family photograph, chosen for the couple’s 2025 Christmas card.
The image, released on Kensington Palace’s social media, shows William and Kate sitting on the grass amid spring daffodils surrounded by their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
“Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas,” the family wrote alongside the picture on social media.
The five royals can be seen smiling and sitting on the grass, their arms wrapped around each other in the Norfolk countryside.
The family photo was captured by Yorkshire-born photographer Josh Shinner, whose previous sitters include Florence Pugh, Jodie Comer, and Sam Smith.
The family snapshot appeared to be the same photoshoot used to capture portraits for George’s 12th and Louis’s seventh birthdays.

The Waleses are expected to join the King and the rest of the royal family at Sandingham in Norfolk on Christmas Day as they spend the festive season together.
The family recently moved into their eight-bedroom “forever home”, Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park – a Grade II listed property.
The move has been regarded as a fresh start for the Waleses after Kate announced she was in remission from cancer at the start of 2025, following what William branded a “brutal” 2024.
The King and Queen Consort released their Christmas card image earlier this month, choosing their 20th wedding anniversary portrait to mark the festivities.
