Taito has announced a new update for QQQbeats!!! on Nintendo Switch, with Version 1.1.0 rolling out as a free online update starting December 18. The update adds four new songs, ranked match changes, UI adjustments, and balance updates. A new character pack, Zundamon, is also set to release a few days later on December 22 as part of the game’s first character rollout.
The four new tracks included in the update unlock in-game and span a mix of genres and collaborators. The additions are “Satori-Eye (feat. ytr)” by TamaOnSen, a Touhou arrangement, “Halcyon” by xi, “Dive!!” by A-One, and “Noda” by Daibaku Hashin. These bring more variety to the game’s existing song list, which already includes anime, pop, virtual singer, and Touhou-related music.
Beyond new music, Version 1.1.0 expands the DUOps mode with Levels 11 through 15 and introduces a new MASTER Rank for Ranked Matches. Taito has also adjusted character balance, tweaked the effect values for Red, Yellow, and Blue Boosters, and added new common missions. Other changes include an improved in-game UI, an expanded Help section, new stamp settings in My Data, and additional songs, plug-ins, stamps, and titles added to T’s direct. The update also addresses various bugs.
Alongside the update, QQQbeats!!! is currently discounted as part of its first holiday sale. The Nintendo Switch download version is 31% off, dropping from $49.99 to $34.49. The sale runs from December 18, 2025, through January 13, 2026, and is available in Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia, with regional pricing varying by storefront. A free demo is also available for players who want to try the game before purchasing.
Taito has also released the QQQbeats!!! Original Soundtrack on December 18 across major music streaming and download services, including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes. The 25-track album features the theme song “Love Colors” by Snail’s House, the ending theme “Ready Set Q!!!” by IOSYS, and a new arrangement of “DADDY MULK” with shamisen performed by Hideki Onoue. The soundtrack includes a wide selection of in-game background music, with contributions from artists such as ZUNTATA, REDALiCE, and others.
QQQbeats!!! launched on Nintendo Switch as a download-only title on September 18, 2025. The game blends bubble-shooting puzzle mechanics with rhythm-based button inputs and supports solo play, local two-player sessions, and online competitive or co-op modes. Playable characters include Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, Shirakami Fubuki, Mori Calliope, Reimu Hakurei, and Marisa Kirisame, with additional character packs planned.
