The pair are responsible for some of Benatar‘s most notable hits of including “Love Is a Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker” and “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.” They have the Grammy Award for Female Rock Performance four years in a row, from 1981–1984.

Outside of music, Benatar and Giraldo have maintained a decades-long commitment to humanitarian causes. The couple has supported WhyHunger for more than 30 years, inspired by their friendship with the organization’s co-founder Harry Chapin.
