Lauren Sánchez Bezos is enjoying her mountain getaway—and the style that comes with it—for as long as she can.
Last weekend, the former journalist jetted off to Aspen, Colorado for a 56th birthday trip with her husband, Jeff Bezos. Since then, she has stayed put, spending her vacation dining at local restaurants, perusing the selection of luxury stores, and presumably hitting some slopes in between, all while putting on her best après-ski cosplay. And last night, that continued when Sánchez Bezos stepped out to dinner with her husband, wearing a somewhat espionage-inspired spin on winterwear.
For the evening out, the children’s book author fastened into a skin-tight, off-the-shoulder black catsuit, which she accessorized with a chunky black leather belt that was clearly only there for decoration. Down low, Sánchez Bezos slipped into a pair of inky stiletto boots that zipped up the sides and also clung tight to her body.
But she contrasted all these bodycon pieces by layering on a voluminous cropped coat in black with rolls of fur forming the fabric. Plus, she accessorized with a set of oversize black sunglasses that resembled ski goggles, and she added a pop of color with a blood-red leather clutch from Bottega Veneta.
As for Jeff, he coordinated with his better half by throwing on a black shirt and slacks, which he paired with matching leather boots. However, he added his own bit of contrast with a cream Louis Vuitton jacket with a shearling lining and cuffs, as well as dark-brown lapels up top.
Only a day prior, Sánchez Bezos wore a similar-style coat.
While Sánchez Bezos has been pulling out everything from Chanel ski pants to cowboy hats and vintage Dior jackets during her time in Aspen, it seems she may have found her preferred uniform with this latest look.
Only a day prior, she was seen wearing a very similar fit, when she stepped out to go shopping with Jeff in a strappy black jumpsuit layered underneath a long black fur coat, and paired with inky platform boots.
If there’s one thing the new Mrs. Bezos is likely to do, it’s to get the people talking about her fashion.
