Meghan Markle has been dealt a devastating blow in the final days of 2025 after an already difficult year. She has taken the No.1 spot on Ranker’s 2025 list of the Most Disliked Celebrities, which is based on public votes. In a post on Instagram, Meghan was No.1, while Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs took the No.2 spot, followed by Jada Pinkett-Smith at No.3.
It read: “Meghan Markle has claimed the top position on Ranker’s 2025 list of the Most Disliked Celebrities, according to live, crowd-sourced voting data. The duchess’s rise to No. 1 follows several years of sustained public disapproval, particularly in the United States, after she and Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties.”
Fans were baffled by the voting, as P Diddy is currently serving a lengthy jail sentence for transportation to engage in prostitution.
One asked: “What did bro do to be worse than diddy?”
Another said: “No wayyyyy! There are MUCH worse celebrities doing MUCH WORSE things than her. This is propaganda.”
A third commented- “Insanity and straight up envy of Meghan Markle. We love you Meghan.”
The vote comes after Meghan sparked backlash when she didn’t visit her ill dad Thomas Markle in hospital.
The former director of photography had his lower leg amputated in a “life or death” surgery after falling ill in the Phillipines.
Meghan was reported to have sent members of her team to deliver a letter to her father at his hospital bed, but they are said to have had no further contact.
Thomas has been forced to crowd fund to cover the costs of his operation, using Gofundme to raise the $6000 (£4500) costs.
The pair have not spoken since 2018, with Thomas admitting he has never met Meghan’s husband Prince Harry, or their two children Archie or Lilibet.
