Body language expert Judi James told Daily Mail that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looked “isolated, ignored and awkward” at the 2018 walkabout at Sandringham outside St. Mary Magdalene Church.

Judi James thinks Prince Harry attempted to connect with King Charles III to no avail. “Harry has decided to gaze across at his father with a smile of affection, although his ‘paperclip’ hand clasp of his jacket suggests he’s distressed here by possible feelings of rejection,” she said.

After King Charles III appeared to brush off the “disastrous” attempt from Prince Harry, Meghan Markle stepped in. “The impression here is that she knows the rules in terms of royal behavior and that it’s Harry who now needs to be steered,” the expert said.

The dynamic between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signaled that she is the one in charge. “It’s not just resting in a gesture of affection. We can see her inner two fingers apparently pressed hard into Harry’s arm as she pulls him in her intended direction,” Judi James said.
