“Ideally you want to bring in your pets. It’s going to be really cold tonight, and their best protection is to be inside with the owners,” Sparks said. But if your pet is staying outdoors, Sparks recommends focusing on three things.
“Try to keep that water unfrozen that way they can continue to drink because even though it’s cold their going to need to continue to drink; keep them fed and keep them as warm as you can possibly keep them,” Sparks said.
