Full of royal visits and personal family moments, 2025 was a busy year for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
After starting off strong in January with an emotional update on Kate’s health—announcing that the future queen was in remission from cancer—the couple stepped out for a handful of appearances, treating the public to new tiaras, a bit of PDA, and several intimate glimpses into life with their three children. Between attending VE Day and Christmas services, hosting state visits and embarking on summer getaways, and moving to their “forever home,” the year was certainly one for the books.
Now, looking ahead to what’s next, they reminisced on the past twelve months through previously “unseen favorite” photos.
Taking to their official Instagram page, William and Kate shared a highlight from each month, taking followers from the Holocaust Memorial Day in January to the Welsh Guard Christmas party in December.
In between, the princess was seen visiting an Action for Children Mother and Baby Unit inside HMP Styal (February), presenting Jannik Sinner with the men’s singles Wimbledon Championship (July), and launching a series of animated films at the Royal Foundation’s Center for Early Childhood (August).
The prince, likewise, was captured at a handful of events, from taking Prince George to speak with veterans at the 80th anniversary of VE Day (May) to playing volleyball on the Copcabana ahead of the 2025 Earthshot Prize in Rio de Janeiro (November).
The following day, the royals treated us to even more photos (and videos!) from the year, wishing “everyone around the world” a HNY. “Thank you for a brilliant 2025 and looking forward to 2026,” they shared.
