His fourth studio album, DON’T BE DUMB, is set to release next week.
A$AP Rocky has released his newest single ‘Punk Rocky’, along with a new video starring Winona Ryder.
The psychedelic-pop single comes as the first release off his long-awaited fourth studio album, DON’T BE DUMB, arriving on January 16. The album’s cover art was designed by gothic filmmaker and illustrator Tim Burton. This will be the alt-rapper’s first LP since the dropping TESTING in 2018.
The accompanying video for ‘Punk Rocky’ features Ryder fresh off the Stranger Things finale release, as well as appearances from R&B producer Thundercat, Beetlejuice composer Danny Elfman and rapper A$AP Nast.
A$AP Rocky directed the video along with previous collaborators Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Beck, a filmmaking duo who, along with the rapper, are often referred to as “The Three Muskateers”.
A$AP Rocky is known for his artistically conceptual music videos, winning Video Of The Year for ‘Tailor Swif’ at the UK Music Video Awards last year, as well as earning several Grammy nominations.
