Hilary Duff is putting that “toxic mom group” drama to bed with her latest song.
Duff teased the new music in a clip on Instagram, wearing an asymmetrical mini by Ronny Kobo ($438 $262) as she sings to the camera.
The look features semi-sheer panels and draping across her chest and waist with a twist detail up top and at the hip.
The former Disney star sings her latest, currently untitled, song with risqué lyrics like, “I want the part where you say goddamn / Back of a dive bar giving you head / Then sneak home late, wake up your roommates.”
Duff, 38, started her musical return back in November, when she released her comeback single, “Mature,” which fans speculated took jabs at Leonardo DiCaprio.
She refused to confirm or deny the speculation, adding that husband Matthew Koma played into the hype for fun, saying, “He’s the biggest troll on the planet Earth. He will lead everybody down all the roads and have the most fun doing it.”
And the drama hasn’t stopped for Duff; After Ashley Tisdale published an essay for The Cut on New Year’s Day, writing of her former “toxic” mom group.
Though left unnamed in the article, sleuths discovered the cohort includes the likes of Duff, Meghan Trainor, Mandy Moore and others.
After feeling “left out” on multiple occasions, the “High School Musical” star said she texted the group, saying, “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”
Koma, meanwhile, got into the mix on the latest. He made a mockup of his own article with the fake headline, “A mom group tell all through a father’s eyes: When You’re the Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers,” sarcastically adding, ““Read my new interview with @thecut.”
And the songwriter is supporting his wife in her newest musical pursuit, too.
On Duff’s latest Instagram, Koma, commented, “That’s my girl 🧡.”
