Kendall Jenner debunked rumors about her sexuality and plastic surgery during her appearance on the podcast In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele.
- She said she would’ve come out by now if she were gay, admitting, “I’d have no problem being that.”
The model also revealed which cosmetic treatments she’s actually had.
Kendall Jenner gave one of her most revealing interviews yet on Owen Thiele’s podcast, In Your Dreams. During the candid conversation, the model opened up about her relationship status and directly addressed longstanding rumors about her sexuality and plastic surgery.
Jenner said she is fully aware of the “whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” adding, “I want to talk about it.”
“What really bothers me is how mean people are about it,” she shared. “It’s not with a welcoming arm. Like, ‘Hey, if you were, yes, come join!’ It’s not kind. It’s very mean. It’s very, ‘What the fuck are you doing?’
“I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody,” she continued. “[But] I can speak for myself here and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life, I’d be out if I was.”
She knows she’d have love and support, adding, “Knowing how I would want to live my life, I’d have no problem being that.”
The model also acknowledged theories about her hiding her sexuality to protect her career: “I’ve seen really fucked-up things, like it’s bad for business.”
She doesn’t understand those types of comments but felt ready to set the record straight. “All’s to say, as of today, I am not [gay],” she said. “I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life.”
Jenner also revealed that she is currently single and not actively dating after being in “a lot” of long-term relationships in her 20s: “When I turned 29, I was like, I really want to put myself first right now. And so that’s where I’m at.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, she shut down rumors about cosmetic procedures she has undergone. “I’ve never had any plastic surgery on my face, nothing,” she said. “I’ve never had any work done. I told you, the only thing I’ve done twice: I’ve done baby Botox in my forehead. I didn’t love it—and I don’t love it—and I consider it sometimes, but then I’m like, my eyebrows are so straight and low to my eyes that I actually really enjoy the movement that I have, so if anything, I did it for fine lines. But I’ve only done PRP [platelet-rich plasma injections, which are used to help wound healing].”
She didn’t avoid discussing rumors about her nose, either: “I will say the nose job allegations I’ve gotten, I would believe them if I wasn’t me. I look at old photos of me, and I’m like, ‘Wait, it does look like I have a nose job.’ I swear to God on everything, everything that I love, I’ve never had a nose job.”
She added, “As I got older, I grew into my nose. My nose did look wider, and it did feel bigger on my face when I was younger.”
Jenner believes another factor could be at play, too: “I did Accutane for my acne. And there’s a theory on TikTok that Accutane shrinks your nose. And you guys, I swear to God, it’s true.”
More broadly, the model criticized videos that speculate on celebrities’ cosmetic procedures, calling them “really damaging,” particularly to young people.
“I’ll see videos of me and a professional, a licensed doctor is on Instagram or TikTok. And they’re doing a breakdown of all the surgeries I’ve had and all the work I’ve had done and all these things,” she said. “And I’ve seen them on other people, too, of course, and people that I know who have never had those things done.”
Those videos, she added, “can affect young people in such an interesting way because then they see that, and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, that’s what I have to do to look like that.’ And then they go rush and they do something silly…I mean, we all make silly decisions at young ages and maybe things that later on we regret.”
