If you’ve been following the royal family, you’re probably very well aware that Catherine, Princess of Wales, is one of the best dressed, most fashionable senior working members of The Firm. In fact, there have been numerous times that the future queen has stepped out in a trendy coat or a pair of perfect shoes that sell out before we can even get the shopping link to load.

But what if we told you that Catherine isn’t the most copied member of the royal family? Despite her impeccable style, the mother-of-three is actually a runner-up in this list, provided to Parade by Kaiia—a fashion label based in the UK.

A December 2025 study by Kaiia showed that William, Prince of Wales, is actually the most copied royal when it comes to fashion.

The study “checked how often people search for their outfits on Google, how many YouTube videos discuss their clothes, and how often their style is mentioned on TikTok. It also counted how many outfit photos of each person are shared online. Using all this information, each royal was given a score out of 100 based on how much interest their style gets.”

Prince William topped the list, followed by his late mother, Princess Diana, his wife, Kate Middleton, and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Interestingly, people Googled queries like “Prince William style inspiration” more than 11 million times, but Middleton edged him out with more than 14 million searches. However, William took the lead when it came to the number of image results of his various looks, with more than 58 million photos of his outfits online.

“Prince William’s style is most popular among all royals. Every month, more than 11 million people look him up on Google, wanting to know what he wears. His classic style is popular on TikTok too, as half a million users check out his outfits through videos. He is also one of the most photographed royals, with Google Images showing over 58 million photos of what he’s worn in public over the years,” Kaiia’s report reads.
