While Harry will return to the UK within weeks to attend his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, the owner of the Daily Mail, it is believed he will not see his father on this visit.
The Duke of Sussex, alongside other prominent public figures, is pursuing legal action against the publisher of the Mail over claims of unlawful information over three decades. Associated Newspapers Limited has denied any wrongdoing.
The King and Harry are not set to meet on the duke’s upcoming visit, with the reason believed to be that the King will not want to be seen meeting his son while Harry is part of a legal action.
Despite this, it is believed that Harry is still happy with the current state of his relationship with the monarch.
GB News reports that sources close to the prince have revealed: “He genuinely loved it (seeing Charles at Clarence House). He wants to do more of that.”
The source continued: “He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”
It is not known when the father and son will next meet face-to-face.
This could be in summer, when Harry is set to return to the UK – potentially with Meghan Markle by his side – to attend A one-year countdown event in Birmingham for the 2027 Invictus Games.
