King Charles’ nephew was married in a royal wedding in the scenic English countryside Saturday — though three of the family’s black sheep were purposefully left off the guest list.
Peter Phillips married pediatric nurse Harriet Sperling, 45, at a ceremony at All Saint’s Church in Kemble near his mother Princess Anne’s royal Gatcombe estate, roughly one year after the couple began dating, The Times of London reported.
In attendance were King Charles; Queen Camilla; Princess Anne and her husband Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence; Anne’s ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips; Prince William and Princess Catherine, along with many other members of England’s royal family.
The wedding was seen as a possible venue for a reunion and reconciliation between Prince William and his estranged brother Prince Harry — as Phillips was previously close with the now-USA living first cousin.
But those hopes were dashed as Prince Harry and his wife Megan Markle were not invited to the wedding with Phillips and his kin no longer in contact, according to that report.
Also omitted from RSVPs was Phillips’ uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been barred from attending public events with the royal family and was stripped of his titles due to his ties to disgraced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Instead of celebrating love with his family, Andrew was at his Sandringham estate where he was seen on Thursday sporting a large, mysterious bruise that covered nearly half of his face.
This is the second marriage for both Phillips and Sperling, who has a 13-year-old daughter, Georgina, from a previous marriage to fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling, The Times of London reported.
Phillips has two daughters,16-year-old Savannah and 14-year-old Isla, from a previous marriage to Canadian Autumn Kelly.
That union ended in 2021 after 12 years.
All three daughters were bridesmaids for the ceremony, according to The Times of London.
Phillips is 19th in line to the British throne.
