After the release of DC’s Absolute Universe, people flocked to its flagship title, Absolute Batman, for its over-the-top and raw story. But when asked about which character series artist Nick Dragotta would like to work on with an Absolute-style theme from Marvel, he was quick to claim that Punisher would be his pick (via League of Comic Geeks).
Similar to DC’s Absolute Universe, Marvel Comics has its own line of alternate-universe titles, the Ultimate Universe, developed by Jonathan Hickman.
